Sharing adventures in the PDPA fail — it is going to be five years of the PDPA, but misconceptions still abound. Here’s one:

Fun fact: Unless you were acting on behalf of the company, nobody can stop you from taking photos for your private purposes.

Not so fun fact: even if you don’t like the fact that people are spying on you, one shouldn’t mislead people on the PDPA on such things.

Fun question: are what kids are doing inside a childcare centre publicly available if the centre left the windows open? Can this be a breach of the PDPA?
